Punta Pelicano the best of the best
Having had many friends tell me how great Punta Pelicano is there was no way I was ready for how beautiful this resort is. The staff is second to none. They are there for you when you need them and otherwise invisible as they go about their tasks. The quality of the construction of the resort and the attention to detail of every aspect of the property is the highest I have seen. I was there with my son and his friend and father for a father son High School graduation surf trip. Every aspect of this place has been thoughtfully executed. You could not find a better equipped place to vacation. Did I mention the proximity to the surf break and the view of the surf and the beautiful Manzanillo Bay. I would recommend Punta Pelicano to anyone who wants to experience coastal Mexico.

A surfer's paradise. Don't tell Anyone
As an avid surf traveler I can honestly say that this is pure paradise. Out front (and your view from the pool) is an uncrowded right that wraps into the bay. Just take a quick walk to the paddle-out if you can pull yourself off the hammock.
Or, jump into a panga steps from your house and motor to numerous lefts/rights and other breaks that go from technical (Palo Alto) to rolling long board waves (Saladita). You've got it all, and all from a house that has
hosted surf legends from Lopez to Machado. Respect the waves, respect the locals and you will be rewarded
with epic sessions.
This place is so well designed and constructed that it will take you a week to notice all of the details. Everything is luxury, everything has been well thought out. The rooms are spacious, the compound has plenty of space to find solitary chill-time, and the grounds are spotless. Our onsite manager was Santos. He helped us with everything from getting pangas to taxis to groceries.
He's been at this house for over 15 years. That says something about him, about the house, and it's owners. Thanks Santos! And, thanks Daniella for the daily housekeeping that kept our beds made, floors clean, and lounging space a living magazine cover. Everything you need to enjoy a hassle-free vacation is right at your doorstep.
Walk to bars/restaurants on the bay beach or taxi (5 minutes) into Troncones for more options on food/groceries/stores, etc... As a father of 3 children (some that surf as well), I wouldn't hesitate to take my family to this beautiful, unspoiled area of Mexico. There aren't too many of these places left. Thank you owners, Andrea and Bob who were more than happy to jump on a call to discuss details and offer suggestions to make our trip successful. Thanks for sharing this incredible house and location.

A slice of heaven in Troncones for a great winter holiday
This is an amazing property and ideal for a family reunion or wedding party or a group of friends going on holiday together. We have returned to Punta Pelicano for several winters now . The property managers Claudia and Gonzalo are nearby to take care of all your needs. The kitchen is great for making amazing meals. The infinity pool is pure heaven The yoga platform ideal for morning yoga and meditation and we also use the platform in the evening to enjoy drinks and watch the amazing nightly sunsets. The house has everything you need including daily maid service and Santos the caretaker and groundsKeeper is on hand all day to lend any needed assistance including climbing the trees for fresh coconuts. If you don't feel like cooking you can find lots of amazing places to eat by walking down the beach or into town. We always look forward to our time here when we make it to Troncones.

HEAVEN ON EARTH!
My family and I, as well as extended family and friends, have stayed at Punta Pelicano a number of times since we first “discovered” it back in 2007. I hesitated on revealing our secret but Punta Pelicano is truly Heaven on Earth and should be shared!
The first time we walked in we were overwhelmed and continue to be each time we stay! The high quality construction and detail of the beautiful rustic Mexican architecture is so welcoming and comfortable, you cannot help but relax. The location right on the surf break is spectacular and we sit and watch the surf and pelicans for hours! The grounds and gardens are meticulously kept and the staff are very special people who care about you and your stay. The owners, Bob and Andrea, are accommodating, generous and easy to work with too.
We have been Blessed beyond and are looking forward to our upcoming stay!

I’m dropping you a note to let you know how much we love the property. We’ve stayed at many homes throughout manzanillo bay, although never on Troncones point. It’s a lovely spot.
Unfortunately, my sister didn’t make it due to an outbreak of covid and her kid’s school. But, my brother’s family from Sweden, my parents, and my family are all having a wonderful time. We are enjoying being back in Troncones - settling into old routines, and reconnecting with friends we missed last year. Gonzalo, Santos, and Shelly have been great.
